Ruling alliance will be able to elect head of state only by criminal methods, Vladimir Voronin

The government coalition will not be able to elect the President of Moldova without the PCRM. This will be possible only if the ruling alliance resorts to dishonest and criminal practices, the Communist Party head Vladimir Voronin told the press during a break in the Parliament's sitting, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The related problems must be solved in Parliament, not by different manipulations, modifications and silly talks,” said the Communist leader. He reiterated that the party he heads does not want early elections, stressing the legislative body should work according to a normal schedule. After the meeting of the Council of the Alliance for European integration on Wednesday evening, the leaders of the component parties told the journalists that there are other methods for overcoming the political crises than those proposed by the PCRM and the head of state can be elected without the participation of the Opposition.
