The Romanian "Ambulance for Monuments" project could also take care of heritage objects in the Republic of Moldova. Project coordinator Eugen Vaida and Chisinau Culture Minister Sergiu Prodan discussed the matter, IPN reports.
According to a ministry press release, representatives of the "Ambulance for Monuments" project are open to supporting the Chisinau authorities in the restoration and conservation of cultural heritage.
The Cernoleuca Mill is one of the objects on the list of monuments in need of urgent intervention and for piloting possible bilateral cooperation. In this respect, both parties agreed to organize a summer school on the issue of intervention, restoration and conservation of heritage buildings in the Republic of Moldova, with the participation of architects and other interested subjects, in order to exchange best practices and experiences.
The "Ambulance for Monuments" project has been running for more than 10 years and includes collaborations with public authorities and NGOs through public and private partnerships.
