The first show staged by the Comedy Philharmonic was presented in Ialoveni as part of a tour that covers a number of districts of the Republic of Moldova, including Chisinau, and is financed by the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova (DRRM). The cultural event brings to the stage renowned Romanian actors who offer artistic moments full of fun, inspired by Romanian history and culture, IPN reports.
Actors Marius Florea Vizante, Radu Gabriel, Leonid Doni and Gheorghe Ifrim managed to conquer the audience in Ialoveni with their subtle humor. They will continue to perform every day at the Houses of Culture in the districts included in the tour: Cantemir (July 17), Ungheni (July 18), Nisporeni (July 19), Straseni (July 20), Calarasi (July 21), Hincesti (July 22), as well as at the Satiricus National Theater “I. L. Caragiale” in Chisinau (July 23). The performances start at 19.00 and the entrance is free for all those who appreciate quality comedy.
“It is a premiere that the DRRM aims to multiply! A quality cultural project, with talented actors and a well-planned script that the inhabitants of Cantemir, Ungheni, Nisporeni, Straseni, Calarasi, Hincesti and Chisinau are going to enjoy,” said Adrian Dupu, secretary of state of the DRRM.
The performances are part of a new project funded by the DRRM, which aims to increase, develop and affirm the Romanian ethnic, cultural and linguistic identity in the Republic of Moldova and strengthen the ties between the two countries. The tour was set to take place between July 16 and July 23. The schedule of shows is available on the DRRM’s Facebook page.
