Romania continues to be the main ally and partner of Moldova. A major task of the Moldovan Government is to create conditions for foreign investors, especially the Romanian ones. Such statements were made in the talk show “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel, IPN reports.

The dean of the Faculty of Law of the Moldova Free International University Alexandru Cauia referred particularly to the Iasi-Ungheni gas pipeline. “If this project reaches Chisinau, the people will understand what having not only the right to choose politically, but also to choose energy resources means. I hope the Government of Moldova will gain Romanian and European partners’ confidence so that that these continue to support the projects and reforms launched in our country,” he stated.

The dean of the Faculty of History of the Teacher-Training University “Ion Creanga” Sergiu Musteata expressed his skepticism about the Government’s ability to implement the Association Agreement with the EU. “I don’t think that the current Government will manage to do something.  The foreign partners lost confidence. The current Prime Minister should be more confident. Everything possible should be made to create the necessary conditions for foreign investors, especially those from Romania. The fact that the Premier travels and has meetings with European officials does not mean that the problems are solved. It’s time to take concrete steps,” he stated.
