Moldovan athlete Roman Prodius has won the 10 km semi-marathon “Vola Ciampino” held in Italy. The competition involved about 2,000 athletes, IPN reports.
This year, the Moldovan athlete has also won gold in the 15km race “Ix Mile”, while at the marathon in Rome ranked 11th out of 12,000 participants.
Roman Prodius represented Moldova at two editions of the Olympic Games. In London, he didn’t reach the finish, while in Rio he finished 105th.
