The seventh large-scale Regional Conference Rockit Moldova 2018 will take place in Chisinau on April 27. The event will bring together different experts and the most innovative young people from Moldova who will present the innovation in a new light. The participants will give speeches and will take part in workshops centering on innovations and technologies, creativity, communication, entrepreneurship and startups, IPN reports.
The 12 speakers at the Rockit will address different themes. Among these are Lucian Despoiu, founder and CEO of Majoritas, an international company of digital technology for political campaigns. He is a serial entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the digital marketing industry and over 20 digital political campaigns all around the world. Another speaker Donie O’Sullivan is a producer for the Social Discovery team, at CNN. He currently works on the news desk, covering domestic and international stories. On April 27, Donie will share his skills on “Fake news, trolls and your data – the new battleground in the modern media”.
Azure Rozmat, CEO of the media project Steppe in Kazakhstan, will speak about the stages of building a successful media business and will share interesting experiences as a startup founder and entrepreneur. David Timis is an active member of the Global Shapers Community, a network led by young people who are exceptional in their potential and achievements. David was named “Young Leader of the Year” in Romania by Revista Cariere, and included on the prestigious “30 Under 30” list compiled by Forbes on a yearly basis.
Calin Biris, Senior Business Partner at @Loopaa, a successful trainer and the founder of the Online Mastery Marketing course, will raise Digital Marketing at the conference. Dmitri Voloshin, the founder and manager of “Simpals”, will focus on the stages of building a successful brand. Andrei Copots, creative director and executive producer in his own production house Electric Sheep Film, in Kiev, will make a presentation about how to build a creative production house.
Yaroslav Serdyuk is the Strategy Blockchain Director at Banda, a creative agency based in Kyiv, which was founded in 2011 and soon has entered the top five most effective independent agencies in the world according to international Effie index. Oleg Tomin is the Creative Director at BART and FINK. Oleg thinks the owner of an agency should understand the functioning of the business so as to know how all team members work.
Among other speakers are Rockstart Founder Oscar Kneppers, who is a successful serial entrepreneur and a celebrated internet publisher, Borys Musielak, co-founded of Filmaster, a personalization service acquired in 2015 by Samba TV where he is currently building the European branch, and Cristina Maxim, the founder of @Cristina Maxim, who was born in the Republic of Moldova, but is now based in Romania.
