The tender contest to select the contractor that will build a road between the villages Florica and Baccealia of Causeni district is close to an end and the works will be launched the next months. The new road will ensure access to the national road R30, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure, as there is no direct access road, the residents of several villages have to bypass up to 50 km in order to get to the Causeni-Anenii Noi national road R30.
Minister of Transport Vasile Botnari, who is paying a working visit to Causeni district, said that 5 million lei was allocated from the 2014 Road Fund for building a road of 4.8 km between Florica and Baccealia. The construction works will cost about 13 million lei and will be completed in 2015.
A special program to repair roads in over 700 villages has been launched this year.
