Road accidents claim two lives

An unidentified man was killed when he was crushed under the wheels of a car on the Chisinau-Anenii-Noi route last night, Info-Prim Neo reports. The man aged approximately 65 was violently hit by a Honda near Todiresti village at about 1.00. When the ambulance arrived, the man was already dead. According to the General Police Commissariat, an 80-year-old woman was hit by a Volkswagen-Golf driven by a man aged 26 near Cheltuitor village. The woman received severe injuries and was rushed to the Emergency Hospital, but died there. A woman aged 69 sustained different traumas after falling from a trolleybus running on route No. 10. A 25-year-old driver of an Audi A4 struck a 19-year-old man at the intersection of Hasdeu and Titus Maiorescu streets in Chisinau. The young man suffered contusion of the legs. A Mercedes route minibus No. 10 crashed into a BMW driven by a man aged 23 on Hancesti St. A 50-year-old female passenger of the car received bodily injuries. A Mercedes minibus running on route No. 188 hit a woman aged 50 on Mateevici St. The woman was taken to the Emergency Hospital with a concussion. A pregnant 26-year-old woman suffered stress when the Toyota in which she was traveling collided with another Toyota. She is under medical supervision. The seven traffic accidents that happened yesterday and last night in the municipality of Chisinau resulted in two deaths and four persons injured.
