Ruslan Codreanu contested the decision not to register him in the electoral race at CEC
Ruslan Codreanu lodged an appeal with the Central Election Commission, requesting that the decision not to be registered in the electoral campaign taken by the Chisinau Municipal Electoral Council be cancelled.
According to the candidate, the Council had to give an answer in five days, but presented a reason after six days, and yesterday, after seven days, another reason.
Ruslan Codreanu conveyed a message stating that he would not give in and that he would go to all the courts to defend his rights.

Ion Ceban: In the stead of the Central Station I would build a multi-storey parking lot
I would close down the Central Station so that within its perimeter a multi-storey car park could be arranged, while the station could be located in other place or there could be the East and the West stations. This is the statement of the PSRM candidate at the capital's mayoralty, Ion Ceban, who, at a press conference on "Solutions for parking issue in Chisinau" said that parking lots could exist in many other areas which should be freed from cars.
"The city is for people not for cars", has said Ion Ceban, maintaining that the number of cars circulating in Chisinau is over 215 000. "In Chisinau, there are 114 paid parking spaces and 12886 parking places at the moment, specified Ion Ceban. The PSRM candidate has stated that he intends to build 4000 parking places per year, for which about 40 million lei will be needed, money from the budget and from public-private partnerships for bunk parking lots.
„There are 640 parking places on Stefan cel Mare si Sfant boulevard. This reduces the perimeter of the boulevard and pedestrian streets. If there were an area of about 80/40 meters for parking, it would solve this problem much faster”, said Ion Ceban.
