The inhabitants of Corlăteni village of Râșcani district will elect their mayor on November 1, simultaneously with the presidential elections, IPN reports.
According to CEC member Sergiu Gurduza, the mayor’s term in office ended before time given his death.
The Central Election Commission also approved the calendar plan for organizing and holding new local mayoral elections in other localities on November 1.
Earlier, the CEC decided that new local elections on November 1 will be held in Chetriș commune of Fălești district, Piatra commune of Orhei district and Dubna village of Soroca district.
