Several rescuers will be on duty during the Boboteaza (Epiphany) bathing ceremony on January 19. According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, throughout the day, 37 mobile groups will patrol areas designated for this tradition.
Rescue teams will monitor the situation near rivers and lakes, specifically near churches, monasteries, and rescue stations.
Authorities warn that bathing in the Prut and Dniester rivers is prohibited, except in designated recreational areas for rest and bathing.
