Economic agents from the Republic of Moldova can submit applications to participate in the fourth edition of the exhibition “Republic of Moldova presents” in Brasov, Romania. The event will take place during June 28-30, in the Council Square. The organizers expect about 60 economic agents to take part in the event, IPN reports.
Sergiu Harea, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, noted that the event will be organized together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Brasov, the City Hall of Brasov and the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Bucharest.
The artistic program of the event will feature artists from the Republic of Moldova and Romania.
The economic agents wishing to participate in the exhibition can submit applications until June 10. Companies operating in the food industry and agriculture, the light industry, production of wines, spirits, honey, jewelry, accessories, cosmetics, textiles, the furniture industry or construction sector are invited.
Silviu Costea, chairman of the CCI in Brasov, said the exhibition is an event that belongs not only to Brasov. Tourists also inquire when this event will take place. The economic agents of Brasov can’t wait to meet those of Moldova, to do business, and the residents of Brasov will necessarily be present in large numbers in the Council Square to taste Moldovan food that is famous all over the world.
Victor Chirilă, Moldova’s Ambassador in Bucharest, urged the exporters to come to Romania with their businesses and products. Romania is the main trading partner of the Republic of Moldova, the main sales market. Romania is a promoter and supporter of the development of the Republic of Moldova.
Bogdan Iancu, foreign relations inspector at the Brasov City Hall, noted that the event that will take place in Brasov confirms the existence of a strong connection between Moldovan and Romanian culture, but also between Moldovan producers and Romanian consumers.
The first exhibition “Republic of Moldova presents” took place in 2016. It involved about 70 economic agents operating in different sectors of the national economy.
