Representatives of water suppliers must have free access to dwellings

The private individuals will continue to be fined if they do not allow representatives of the water suppliers to enter their dwellings to check the meters, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Constitutional Court on April 12 confirmed the constitutionality of this provision of the Code of Administrative Offenses. The challenge was filed by ombudswoman Aurelia Grigoriu. The fine for the individuals who bar access to their homes is 800 lei.
