“Changes occurred during the last two years, but these were in the interests of politicians and the ordinary citizens didn’t benefit from them. It is the moment for a decisive blow so that we definitely clear the country of the remains of the criminal regime of the captured state. For the purpose, new, honest, correct persons should come to power to do good things for the people,” the mayor of Bălți Renato Usatîi, who heads the Electoral Bloc “Renato Usatîi”, stated in the official opening of the election campaign. The event held at the Place of the Republic in Chisinau lasted for almost three hours, IPN reports.
Usatîi said the bloc’s list includes mayors, district councilors, economists, jurists, lawyers, teachers, psychologists, designers, police officers. One of the points of their electoral program says the Moldovan citizens who during five years transferred €20,000 to the country will be able to register a car without paying customs duties, if the value of the car is lower than €20,000.
Jurist Nicolae Margarint, a member of the bloc, said the persons with disabilities have to choose between the disability pension and the old-age pension and this is outrageous. The persons with special needs have to annually pass the examination of the expert commission to have their disability degree confirmed and this is disdain. If their bloc enters Parliament, they will amend the relevant legislation. The state is obliged to provide the children from orphanages with dwellings and jobs when they leave the residential institutions.
Another candidate of the bloc Viorica Stanciu, a teacher, noted that the retirement age for teaching staff should be lowered as the profession of teachers implies the greatest professional and emotional burnout. The number of students in classes should be decreased, while the teachers teaching in classes with more than 26 students should be paid bonuses to the salary.
The Elector Bloc “Renato Usatîi” consists of “Our Party” and the Party “Patria” (“Homeland”).
