The national exhibition "Made in Moldova" was opened in Chisinau. The opening ceremony at Moldexpo included a festive program that involved Prime Minister Dorin Recean, who noted a record number of companies participating in this year's edition, IPN reports.

Over 350 companies are participating in the 22nd edition of "Made in Moldova" exhibition, of which 50 registered to take part for the first time.

"This exhibition is an opportunity to see how good our producers are because they are regional champions and European champions in terms of high-quality products," said Premier Recean.

The official encouraged entrepreneurs to learn the culture of cooperation, especially when it comes to the enormous export potential of domestic products to the European Union. "The Government will support the rapid advance towards European integration so that we have, on the one hand, open markets and, on the other hand, the financing needed to develop small and medium-sized enterprises," stressed Dorin Recean.

The expansion of government support programs for the business community is one of authorities' objectives for 2025, MP Radu Marian said in the opening ceremony.

The exhibition is open to visitors until February 2, between 10:00 a.m. and 06:00 p.m. The exhibition space is divided into three areas. The central pavilion hosts agri-food products and collective exhibitions of different districts. In the second pavilion, companies operating in the industrial sector present their products. In the outdoor area, visitors can buy bee products, homemade wines, cold cuts, fresh fruit and handicrafts.
