Prime Minister Dorin Recean said Veronica Dragalin’s assertions that the Ministry of Justice sabotages the extradition of Ilan Shor are political in character. He also said that everyone is tired of justice system ‘stars’ who do not deliver results, IPN reports.

"I will not comment on the political statements of a prosecutor. Everyone has ordinary expectations – cases, evidence, prison. I think everyone is tired of the stars in the justice system. Everyone simply wants justice to be done," Dorin Recean told the press.

The official recommended everyone to go to districts, talk to the citizens and ask them what they think about the way justice is administered.

Asked what he thinks about the administration of justice, Premier Recean said that "there are a few prosecutors and judges who started to move, but there are, unfortunately, a lot of celebrities who do not deliver."

Veronica Dragalin said that the Ministry of Justice is sabotaging the procedure for extraditing Ilan Shor. According to the head of the Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office, the extradition request was formulated in accordance with the European Commission's form and was agreed with Israeli prosecutors, but the Ministry of Justice did not send the request that would enable to bring the fugitive politician back to the country.
