Moldova’s Radu Albot had a good start at the ATP World Tour Masters in Miami. He beat Lithuania’s Ricardas Berankis, World No. 103, 6-1, 4-6, 7-6, IPN reports.
The winner was decided on a tiebreak. In the evening of March 24, Albot meets Sam Querrey of the U.S., who takes the 14th spot in the ATP rankings.
Albot and Querrey also dueled at the US Open in 2017. The Moldovan tennis player was then defeated 1-3.
