Moldovan tennis player Radu Albot, world No. 70, was eliminated from the Grand Slam tournament US Open. The 30-year-old athlete lost to Slovakia’s Norbert Gombos, world No. 104, IPN reports.
Albot was beaten in three sets 4-6, 1-6, 4-6 after a game that lasted for two hours and 15 minutes. In the next round, Gombos meets Croatia’s Marin Cilic, world No. 38.
This year’s edition of the US Open takes place without spectators.
