The pair Radu Albot - Lukas Rosol didn’t manage to qualify for the semifinals of the Grand Slam tournament Roland Garros. The Moldovan-Czech duo lost to the Italian pair Simone Bolelli - Fabio Fognini by 2-6, 7-5, 2-6, IPN reports.
For the participation in Roland Garros, Radu Albot and Lukas Rosol will share a prize of €62,000. Despite the defeat, the qualification for the quarterfinals represents the biggest success in Radu Albot’s career.
At the age of 25, Albot won 16 international tournaments in singles and 16 tournaments in doubles. In singles, he takes the 128th place in the world rankings, while in doubles he occupies the 89th position.
