Moldavan tennis player Radu Albot failed to qualify for the third round of the Masters 1000 tournament in Cincinnati.
He was defeated by the Argentine Diego Schwartzman (ATP #24), 4-6, 2-6. The match lasted one hour and 32 minutes. Previously, Albot defeated Croatian Marin Cilic (#18), 6-4, 7-6.
During the doubles, Radu Albot together with the Russian Karen Khachanov were eliminated by the Christian Garin - Benoit Paire pair, 6-7, 4-6.
