The national women’s football team of Moldova played the last match of the UEFA Euro 2017 qualifying competition. It lost to Poland away 0-4, IPN reports.
The goals were scored by Pajor (43rd minute), Daleszczyk (64th), Arnautu (68th-pen) and Winczo (90th).
Moldova lost all the eight matches played within the current qualifying rounds and scored only one goal, in the match against Poland in Orhei (Ludmila And one). The national women’s team returned to the international arena after a pause of nine years.
Sweden is the winner of the fourth group that included Moldova. This summer, Sweden has reached the final of the Rio Olympic tournament.
