PUM wants broad coalition government and Moldova’s integration into 'EU-2'

The Humanist Party proposes the creation of a broad coalition for national salvation and blames the political leaders who have governed since 2001 for the chaos in Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Obsessed with their ambitions, they behave like predators in a jungle. Although one year ago Lupu promised he would stop the political war, he simply became part of it and transformed the Democratic Party into a business enterprise, led by Plahotniuc. Lupu is trying to make this oligarch the prime minister of Moldova. It’s like Berezovschi became Prime Minister in Russia”, states the PUM press release. The Humanists want an apolitical Government, which means the head of the state, the Prime Minister and other dignitaries shouldn’t be members of any party. The president must be a neutral person, respected by the society and able to make everybody get along. At the same time, the Prime Minister must be a technocrat, whose only goal would be to restore the economy. The Humanist Party thinks Moldova and other former Soviet republics must create the Eastern European Union similar to the European Union. The key issue of the PUM program is the reintegration into the Eastern space in 2 steps. First, entering the Belarus-Kazakhstan-Russia customs union, then creating the political union following the example and principles of the EU.
