The National Anti-corruption Center (NAC) will keep and issue integrity records on public agents, under a governmental decision that will take effect on 1 January 2015, IPN reports.

The NAC said in a press release that the professional integrity testing records represent a database on the results of the tests performed on public agents. The purpose of keeping such records is to prevent the re-employment of the agents who failed the integrity tests because of acts of corruption.

The Government also adopted the Regulations on the procedure of keeping record of undue influence, with the NAC being the first institution to create a model of the document. The measure requires all the public institutions in the country to follow suit and adopt their own regulations based on the model laid out in the governmental decision.
