The Public Amenities Division continues to install tennis and arm-wrestling tables in all the districts of the municipality of Chisinau. There will also be set up 25 chess tables.
Irina Boțu, communicator of the Public Amenities Division, has told IPN that they received requests to put in sports equipment from residents of the capital city. By such actions, the Division endeavors to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
The Public Amenities Division acquired 27 tennis tables, 18 arm-wrestling tables and 25 chess tables. So far it set up 24 tennis tables and 17 arm-wrestling tables in public spaces in the capital city.
A sum of over 1.5 million lei was earmarked for the purpose this year.
