Expert of the Association “WatchDog” Valeriu Pașa considers the Party of Socialists and the bloc ACUM look for motives to avoid serious discussions on cooperation in the new Parliament. The expert noted that if a real discussion is wanted, the parliamentary groups should not impose issues that the other side would not accept. The subject was developed in the talk show “Politics of Natalia Morari” on TV8 channel, IPN reports.

“When discussions start, one should announce an eventual end result. The bloc ACUM cannot govern together with the PSRM in the long run, first of all because both of the two entities promised to the people that they will not do this. Currently, the problem resides in the fact that the electoral process was so powerfully vitiated that the people’s will is not represented in Parliament. Snap elections in normal conditions is the natural end result and this is what should be discussed,” stated Valeriu Pașa.

The expert wondered why the representatives of the bloc ACUM refused to meet with the leader of the PDM at a time when they invited this to public discussions during many years, but when a possibility appeared, they refused to profit from this.

MP of the bloc ACUM Oazu Nantoi said the package of bills introduced into Parliament is an invitation to a dialogue, especially to the Party of Socialists. And this does not mean at all that the bloc rejects any consolidation proposal, but the dialogue is absent. “This is our offer. It can be criticized with the aim of being improved. We are ready for a dialogue, not yet for mockery. We presented our offer,” stated the MP. Oazu Nantoi noted the PSRM has the largest number of seats of MP and should undertake to form a majority. The invitation issued earlier by the PSRM to the bloc ACUM to come to discussions at the party’s head office represented ridicule.

The Party of Socialists’ jurist Fadei Nagachevski said the PSRM offers to have communication at parliamentary group level, not at the level of each MP. If the bloc ACUM invites the Socialist parliamentary group to discussions, the invitation will be accepted. “The bloc ACUM proposed communication at the level of individual MPs and the invitation was not made to the group,” stated Fadei Nagachevski. Furthermore, the PSRM is a pro-presidential party and it is not clear why the bloc didn’t accept President Igor Dodon’s invitation to discuss together with the leaders of the PDM and PSRM. A meeting between Igor Dodon, the PSRM and the bloc ACUM could have been held if the latter had avoided a meeting with the leaders of the PDM.
