PSL MP becomes vice chairman of PD parliamentary group

The parliamentary faction of the Democratic Party (PD) designated the leader of the Social Liberal Party (PSL) as vice chairman of the group, the PD leader Dumitru Diacov announced on November 1. Diacov said that Serebrian will also be member of the Moldova-EU Parliamentary Cooperation Committee instead of Vladimir Filat, who left the party. The PSL MP Igor Klipii, who also joined the Democratic faction, will replace Filat in the post of vice chairman of the parliamentary commission for national security, defence and public order. Vladimir Filat, who was vice chairman of the PD faction, left the party this September. Recently, the three PSL parliamentarians announced that they joined the Democratic parliamentary group.
