On the day of the runoff presidential election in the Republic of Moldova, the Public Services Agency (PSA) provided more than 1,200 identity documents for citizens who wanted to exercise their right to vote by noon, IPN reports.
Between 07:00 a.m. and 01:00 p.m., 973 identity cards and 251 provisional identity cards were issued.
In order to facilitate the access of all citizens to valid identity documents for the voting process, the multifunctional centers of the PSA will work until 09:00 p.m.
According to the CEC, over 1.285 million voters cast their ballots in the country and abroad by 04:00 p.m.
