The results of the parallel vote counting by the Promo-LEX Election Observation Mission members are close to the preliminary results announced by the Central Electoral Commission. In an IPN press conference, Pavel Postica, the head of the Observation Mission, said that Promo-LEX observers counted in parallel the votes from the municipalities of Chișinău, Bălți and Comrat.

Preliminary CEC data shows that Ion Ceban obtained 40.16% of the votes in Chișinău, while Promo-LEX found that the Socialist obtained 39.96%.

Preliminary CEC data shows that Andrei Năstase got 31.09% of the votes, while Promo-LEX reported that the ACUM bloc candidate secured 30.75%.

In Bălți, according to the CEC counting, Renato Usatîi was voted by 61.93% of the voters, while the parallel counting shows that 61.25% of the voters cast their votes for the "Partidul Nostru" chairman.

Pavel Postica said that the difference may be explained by the fact that the Observation Mission members received only 295 protocols from the 307 polling stations in Chișinău and 55 protocols from 59 polling stations in Bălți.

In Comrat, Promo-LEX parallel counting results are the same as CEC results.
