The observers of Promo-LEX Association reported two cases of campaigning or black PR to influence the choice of voters near polling places. According to the monitoring report presented at 3pm, the message “If you are a patriot, don’t go to vote” was placed on a billboard at a polling place in Rascani district. In 12 cases, the ballot boxes were sealed not according to rules. Most of these cases were recorded in Rascani district of Chisinau, IPN reports.
In Ciocana district, there was recorded a case of unjustified group voting, when more than one person entered a polling booth. In two cases, the State Automated Information System “Elections” malfunctioned. In another ten cases, the electoral registers contained inaccuracies. Among other identified violations were the photographing of ballots, non-understanding of the content of the question put in the referendum by voters and involvement of observers representing referendum participants in the electoral process.
The observation mission of Promo-LEX reported also cases of unjustified presence of unauthorized persons inside polling places or within 50 meters of polling places.
