Progress Chisinau is the new holder of Moldova’s Futsal Super Cup. In the decisive match, the team trained by Dorin Coceban beat Classic Chisinau in overtime 6-5, IPN reports.
After the normal period the game ended by 3-3. Oleg Hiloti, Dorin Coceban and Victor Costin and, respectively, Denis Negru, Evgheni Frolov and Andrei Negara scored for the winning team.
“I thank my team for the made effort. I think we wanted this victory more,” said Progress coach-player Dorin Coceban, who turned 37 on the day of the match.
In the championship, Classic remains the favorite to win, with a maximum of points after six played matches. Progress ranks fifth.
