A woman from Ukraine attempted to illegally bring aesthetic medical products into Moldova, hidden in the back seat of a car. The attempt was discovered by customs officers at the Tudora crossing point, who found vials of hyaluronic acid, botulinum, and lifting threads, all undeclared, IPN reports.

According to authorities, the 54-year-old driver claimed she was not transporting anything that needed to be declared, but a detailed search of the vehicle revealed a hidden compartment in the backrest of the rear seat where the products were concealed.

The goods were confiscated, and authorities are continuing the investigation to determine all the circumstances of the case.

The Customs Service reminds that such products must be declared according to the law, and any attempt to bring them into the country illicitly will be penalized.
