The parliamentary group Pro Moldova said that after they issued an open invitation to all the parliamentary parties responsible for setting the anti-crisis Government’s priorities, they held the first discussion with the MPs of the Shor Party on June 29.

“The PRO offer includes a series of urgent measures in support of the health system, the economic, education, justice and social sectors. The reform proposals and bills that are to be included in the Parliament’s agenda as a matter of urgency come to improve the catastrophic situation and to bring immediate support for the people who were most seriously affected during the pandemic,” Pro Moldova posted on Facebook.

Also, the Shor Party in a press release said the first round of discussions centered on the removal of the current Government controlled by Igor Dodon and the formation of a new professional Cabinet, with a viable government program that can stop the effects of the economic and healthcare crisis.

According to the party, it was established that owing to the poor management of the situation, the Dodon-Chicu Government pushed the country towards an economic crisis whose effects become increasingly visible and affect an increasing number of citizens. “In such conditions, the MPs of the Shor Party and Pro Moldova reiterated the necessity of dismissing the current Government, which lost the political support, the people’s confidence and any foreign support. The parties also agreed on the necessity to form, alongside representatives of the other opposition parliamentary parties, another executive that would satisfy and would find solutions to the immediate and long-term needs of the Republic of Moldova and its citizens,” runs the press release.
