The film "The Prince of Bubuieci" goes on a national tour. The local production will be screened in Balti (February 22-23) and in a number of towns in the Republic of Moldova, including Cahul, Rezina, Soroca, Drochia, and Ungheni. The preview of the film took place on February 13 and, more than 2,700 spectators watched the film at cinemas in Chisinau last weekend, IPN reports.
The story in the film brings to the fore Kofi Kompaore, an African prince who arrived in Moldova and faced a corrupt system and prejudice.
"We believe that this film will resonate deeply with viewers and we are eager to present it in as many cities as possible," said director Ivan Naniev.
"The Prince of Bubuieci has the power to touch people's souls and I hope that the audience will feel every moment with the same intensity", noted producer Sergiu Scobioală.
Valentin Fyodorov, Irina Țaruș, Ciprian Răcilă, Angela Ciobanu, Alexandr Shishkin, Anastasia Colomeiciuc, Traian Stoianov and Valera Leovskii are among the cast members.
Those who want to watch the film in Chisinau can visit one of the capital city's cinemas.
