With the support of the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova (DRRM) of the Romanian Government, priest Constantin Necula, one of the most beloved theologians in Romania, will hold a number of conferences in Moldova at the beginning of June, IPN reports, with reference to InfoPrut.
According to DRRM State Secretary Adrian Dupu, the three speeches in front of the public will be given in Hancesti, Balti and Rezina or Orhei, with free entrance.
The source noted that priest Constantin Necula has held numerous conferences in recent years both in Romania and Moldova, as well as abroad. He is a regular presence on radio and television shows centering on spiritual topics, enjoying appreciation even among young people. In particular the show “Day by day with priest Constantin Necula” on the Romanian Television, TV programs focused on messages regarding the past day and the next day, attract an impressive number of viewers, including on Youtube. While in Moldova last spring, he gathered hundreds of young people at the Mediacor center of the Moldova State University. “For two hours, the priest captivated the students by lessons, parables and stories in the style that made him so loved, bringing both smiles and tears in the eyes of the listeners,” said Adrian Dupu.
Constantin Necula is a professor at “Andrei Saguna” Faculty of Theology in Sibiu, author of volumes of sermons, studies and articles on homiletics and catechetics and books for children and young people. Among his best-known volumes are “About the Meaning of Life” written together with Mihai Morar and “Reconciliation with yourself” written together with priest Francisc Doboș, said the quoted source.
