A liter of diesel fuel will cost less than 19 lei on Thursday. The National Agency for Energy Regulation announced a decline of 0.33 lei in the price of diesel fuel for tomorrow, IPN reports.
This way, standard diesel fuel on May 11 will be sold for at most 18.95 lei a liter. Gasoline COR 95 will cost 23.26 lei/liter, also 0.33 lei down.
According to the Agency, the price of gasoline since April has decreased by 2.26 lei/liter, while the price of diesel fuel by 2.08 lei/liter.
“The decline in fuel prices is primarily due to the diminution of the Platts quotations on which the current price calculation methodology is based, given that the Republic of Moldova fully imports the necessary fuels,” the Agency noted in a press release.
