Press Club will restart meetings on September 7

The Independent Journalism Center (CIJ) and the Press Freedom Committee (CLP) invite journalists to a new session of the Press Club that will take place on September 7. This meeting will be dedicated to the prevention of trafficking in human beings and illegal migration from the Republic of Moldova by offering the population viable alternatives. At the meeting of the Press Club there will be invited representatives of several organizations and both international and local projects: OSCE mission to Moldova, United Nations Development Program, International Migration Organization, Winrock International, Catholic Relief Services, Italian Solidarity Consortium, International La Strada Center, National Committee Against Trafficking in Human Beings, Women’s Traffic Prevention Center, Center for Prevention and Traffic Control (under MAI). The Press Club has been launched in autumn of 1995 with the goal to give the mass-media from the Republic of Moldova the opportunity to meet with influential persons from different areas of activity in an informal session of questions and answers. The Press Club meeting will take place on September 7, at 17:00 in “Passepartout” restaurant (62 Kogalniceanu Street, Chisinau), just on the side of the road from the 3rd block of State University. The event is financially supported by „The Balkan Trust for Democracy” (BTD).
