Independent candidate Tudor Ulianovschi has presented his manifesto, which is titled “For a Normal Moldova” and contains ten priorities.

In a Facebook post, Ulianovschi said he will insist that the talks for EU membership take place only with regard for Moldova’s national interests and the citizens. He also promises to personally oversee the negotiation process.

“In a normal Moldova, being pro-European does not mean voting only for the candidate in power, and the idea of European integration should not be politicized or hyperbolized. At the same time, the Government doesn’t have to make reforms for the sole purpose of reporting them to Brussels, but indeed for the well-being of the citizens”, wrote Tudor Ulianovschi.

According to the candidate, a presidential advisor must be appointed to monitor the negotiation process. In addition, Ulianovschi declares, some reforms must be “negotiated hard”, so that Moldova obtains more advantages.

At the same time, Tudor Ulianovschi promised Roads and Bridges employees that, if he is elected president, he will support reforms so that all workers are paid fairly, commensurate with their efforts, and are adequately equipped and work in decent conditions.

“Together, we can change the difficult fate of people working in the field of infrastructure and beyond. Also, we can offer them a better life, a dignified living and the respect they deserve", declared Tudor Ulianovschi during an election meeting.
