President Maia Sandu is encouraging adults who want to learn Romanian to sign up for the free courses organized by the Ministry of Education and Research. The courses will take place between March and December, available in both physical and remote attendance.
The courses are held as part of the National Program for Studying the Romanian Language, launched last year. These are intended for adults who want to improve their knowledge of Romanian, and also for those who want to learn Romanian from scratch.
Those interested can sign up until February 29 by filling out an online form. Alternatively, one can register by calling 068686004 on workdays from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Last year, 6,550 people were trained within the National Program for Studying the Romanian Language.
