The President Maia Sandu will be in London on Sunday and Monday for the State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to render homage to her in the name of all the citizens of the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.
According to the presidential press service, President Sandu next Tuesday and Wednesday, September 19 and 20, will be taking part in the UN General Assembly in New York, which is an annual event that raises issues of global interest. In connection with the visit to the UN, the Moldovan official will take part in a number of events centering on education and will have a number of bilateral meetings.
On her return home, Maia Sandu will pay a short working visit to Berlin, where she will meet with Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany Svenja Schulze, members of the Bundestag and representatives of the German business community.
