The man who died in an explosion in an apartment on Moscova Blvd in Chisinau in the morning of February 17 allegedly killed himself. The preliminary version is that the man left the gas cylinder open intentionally, Prime Minister Ion Chicu stated after the ordinary meeting of senior state officials, IPN reports.
Premier Chicu said he was informed about this case by the minister of the interior. “The person regrettably committed suicide. He opened the nozzle of the gas cylinder. It was a local exposition, to say it so. The neighbors weren’t affected. By the way, the person died not because of the blast, but as a result of electrocution,” he stated.
According to the official, the authorities will consider the possibility of providing support to the man’s family.
