The National Political Council of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” (PPPDA) approved the party’s list of candidates for the snap parliamentary elections of July 11, 2021, IPN reports.

In a press release, the party says the main principles based on which the list of candidates for the future Parliament was drown up were meritocracy, professionalism, integrity, involvement in the fight against corruption and capacity to work for the people’s benefit, for a country in which one would want to live.

“The PPPDA manifested an extremely serious attitude in this process and didn’t hurry to present its electoral list before discussing it at all levels and offering everyone sufficient time for stating their opinion on the party’s electoral offer,” runs the press release.

The leader of the PPPDA Andrei Năstase underlined the excellent performance of the party’s MPs in the outgoing Parliament, noting that all the bills registered by the party’s parliamentary group with the legislature will be promoted during the next parliamentary mandate.

Contacted by IPN for details, PPPDA vice president Dinu Plîngău said the party decided not to make public its list of candidates for the July 11 snap parliamentary elections before this is registered with the Central Election Commission, together with the other required documents. The documents will most probably be submitted to the CEC on May 24.

After the list of candidates is registered, the PPPDA will start its election campaign.
