Christian Democratic People’s Party considers as challenging recent statements of Russian ambassador in Chisinau Nicolai Reabov and the actions of this state regarding the last evolutions of the Transnistrian region, according to a statement presented on Thursday, 23 March in the meeting of the parliament by the chairman of the parliamentary Christian democratic group, Vlad Cubreacov.
Parliament of Moldova approved in summer 2005 many legislative acts and measures regarding the peaceful regulation of Transnistrian conflict, he said. And the joint declaration of the prime ministers of Moldova and Ukraine of 30 December 2005 was a basic action to stop the smuggling at Moldovan-Ukrainian border, fact highly appreciated by international bodies and western states.
But these measures, according to international law, led to tough, aggressive and challenging on behalf of Moscow and Tiraspol. And statements of Russian Government and ambassador Reabov, show that this state encourages the unrecognised regime of Tiraspol, according to report.
Last events confirm that there are organised different destabilising actions, aiming sabotaging of the efforts of regulating the Transnistrian conflict, Cubreacov noted.
PPCD Faction appeals to the whole political class of Moldova to show their national solidarity to reject external pressures, and the population is called to be along the constitutional leadership of Moldova. PPCD faction also proposed creation of a working group for preparing a statement on inter-state Moldovan-Russian relations and created situation.
Nicolai Reabov launched many critics to authorities of Chisinau, during Monday press conference, 20 March held in Chisinau. Russian diplomat said that the invoked reason by Moldova regarding new customs regime is only a pretext, in fact „this represents certain premeditated actions”. Authorities of Moscow consider the implementation of the new customs regime as „economic blockade of Transnistria”.
