The „CPH Pharma” society from Portugal is interested in implementing investment projects of building dwellings and offices in Chisinau city. A delegation of this company, led by the president of the Administration Council, Alain Bonte, during a meeting with interim mayor, Vasile Ursu, expressed his interest in buying construction sites in the Chisinau Airport and City Gates areas. Considering this, Vasile Ursu replied that the authorities plan to reconstruct the road from the City Gates to the Airport and seek investors. The approximate cost of the reparation is MDL 50 million. The members of the Portuguese delegation declared that their company might be available to co-finance this road reparation, without the refund of the financial means, if the authorities are willing to sell land in this region to the company. According to Ursu, at present the City Hall sells land only through auctions, but it will forward these investment offers to the Government, which might decide to sell some plots from the state property.
