In the November 15 runoff vote, the polling stations established in Baku, Azerbaijan, and Strasbourg, France, will also work according to a special program. A decision to this effect was taken by the Central Election Commission, IPN reports.

At polling station No. 1/307 in Baku, the voters will be able to cast their ballots between 7am and 6pm. CEC president Dorin Cimil said Azerbaijan remains under martial law owing to the Azeri-Armenian military conflict.

Polling station No. 1/342 in Strasbourg will work between 7am and 8pm given the extension of the restrictive measures imposed by the French authorities in connection with the epidemiological situation generated by COVID-19.

A number of 2,143 polling stations were established for the presidential elections. Of these, 139 are intended for Moldovans abroad, while 42 for the citizens eligible to vote residing in the Transnistrian region, the municipality of Bender and a number of localities of Căușeni district.
