The politicians will ultimately manage to form a majority coalition, but will install a very fragile Government. Such statements were made in the talk show “Moldova life” on the public TV channel Moldova 1, IPN reports.

Executive director of the Foreign Policy Association Victor Chirila considers we will have a government, but it’s not known for how long and how the coalition will be formed. “In Moldova, there are no pro-European parties. There are parties that declare themselves to be pro-European. If they want to show that they are really European, the parties of the government coalition should convince us of this by doing reforms at the Ministry of the Interior and in the justice sector, by correctly elucidating the case of Banca de Economii and by fighting corruption.  There is growing dissatisfaction in society,” he stated.

Political analyst Nicolae Chirtoaca also believes that there will be formed a government coalition and a Government, which won’t be better than the previous ones. “Negotiations will be held behind the scenes. The spheres of interest and influence will be again divided. Starting with 2009, Moldova has witnessed regression in all the sectors. The Moldovans should finally wake up. I think they actually wake up, but haven’t yet left the bed,” he said.

Octavian Ticu, department head at the Moldova Free International University, considers a government will be formed because the ruling political class does not have a choice. “Things will be clarified by autumn. We will have a new coalition and a new Government. I hope these will be pro-European. I think the ruling politicians realize how serious the current situation is. The country is close to a default. A compromise should be reached,” he stated.
