The conciliation of the leaders of the ruling parties will be only imitated. In reality, they went too far, but nobody wants to assume responsibility for the Government’s dismissal, political analyst Oazu Nantoi stated for Info-Prim Neo. The analyst took part in the February 27 meeting of opinion leaders and President Nicolae Timofti. “The head of state asked for our opinions about possible ways of more efficiently overcoming the political crises. I had my own proposals, others had other proposals. Everything depends on the political leaders, not on us,” said Oazu Nantoi. According to him, Speaker Marian Lupu, the leader of the PDM, specialized in making funny statements. “He suddenly realizes that the Government is not efficient, but does not withdraw his minister. It’s a kind of Moldovan show,” stated the analyst. Asked how Marian Lupu may act after he announced that he will initiate the procedure for dismissing the Premier if he does not quit himself, Oazu Nantoi said it is hard to anticipate because the leader of the PDM changes his mind every day. Two weeks ago, the Liberal-Democrats withdrew from the agreement on the formation of the Alliance for European Integration. Their former alliance colleagues accused them of triggering a political crisis. The PDM demanded that Prime Minister Vlad Filat resign.
