A man driving a car with a Romanian license number is searched for by the police after he last night caused a traffic accident in Chisinau and left the place.
Contacted by IPN for a comment, Chisinau Police Division press officer Natalia Stati said the driver who is to blame for the accident travelled on Teilor St. He lost control of the vehicle and went out onto Dacia Blvd where he ran into a cab that, for its part, struck another car.
The driver faces six penalty points and a fine of 1,500 lei. He will be banned from driving for a period of two to three years for leaving the place of the accident.
The driver of the cab suffered a wound in the parietal region. He received medical care and was allowed to go home.
