A young man was arrested on suspicion that he killed a man and then buried the body in a wood. The crime was committed in the municipality of Balti several days ago, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, the victim’s nephew informed the police that his uncle aged 53 from Balti municipality left home and didn’t return.
It was later established that the man went to visit a woman in Balti. A dispute arose between the partner of the woman’s daughter and the victim and the 22-year-old man hit the guest in the head with a wooden block for several times. When he saw that the man didn’t breathe, he took him to a wood near the town and buried the body there.
The suspect admitted his guilt. He faces 10 to 15 years behind bars.
