The General Police Inspectorate said that it does not confirm or deny the information contained in the database that was made public by a number of media outlets of Moldova on October 25, IPN reports.
According to the published information, the database contains the names of people who were allegedly involved in vote-buying schemes applied at the recent referendum and presidential election.
"With reference to the list that contains a series of names and surnames of persons who are allegedly sympathizers/activists/members of the criminal organization "Shor", made public today, with allusions that it was spread or disclosed by the representative of a state institution, the Police do not confirm or deny the data from the list as long as this information was not compared with that possessed by the law enforcement agencies," said the General Police Inspectorate.
The institution also said that it rejects the allusions about the dissensions between the judicial, legal and police institutions in the process of documenting a criminal organization, classifying them as an institutional division attempt.
