Poland will offer Moldova a technical credit to the total sum of USD 15 mln. The text of the Agreement between the Governments of Chisinau and Warsaw, regarding the granting of the credit, was initialled in Chisinau on Friday, February 15.
The Agreement has been initialled as part of the three-day visit in Chisinau of a delegation of the Ministry of Finances of Poland. The document was initialled by the Minister of Finances Mihail Pop and the leader of the Polish delegation Wojciech Ryasiecki.
The money will be used for buying equipment, services and technologies introduced by Poland in Moldova. The total value of these supplies will not exceed the sum of USD 16.6 mln. The volume of Polish goods, delivered on the basis of the initialled Agreement, will constitute at least 80%.
The credit will be used for a two-year period. The credit will be reimbursed within 18 years, with a supplementary grace period of 2 years and interest rate of 1.4%.
